The Vegan Ramen Workshop

The Vegan Ramen Workshop is by far my favourite, purely because Ramen is one of my favourite things to eat!

I love the diverseness of cooking Ramen. There are so many variables and infinite possibilities for creativity within the noodles, the broth, the tare, the toppings -the salty umami-ness- and of course, it’s a chef’s dream canvass!

During this workshop, I will be sharing with you all of the steps that contribute to creating a well balanced, healthy vegan ramen, FULL of delicious umami goodness!

You will learn:

* How to make a well balanced intense vegetable stock.
* How to flavour your ramen with miso and soy sauce (tamari) and a few other secret ingredients.
* How to achieve a rich flavour without using animal products.
* How to make your own bouncy soba noodles at home!

Afterwards, everyone will get a chance to taste everything and we will all enjoy an abundant tasting together!

You will leave with recipes, a full belly and the motivation to make awesome vegan ramen whenever you want!

Something everyone who has joined us quickly feels -including ourselves- is the amazing the energy we all bring into the space during the workshops. It’s relaxed, enjoyable, fun… kind of like hanging out with friends.

It includes e-recipes, workshop demonstration, a glass of wine or homemade kombucha and a generous bowl of Ramen!

The Vegan Pasta Masterclass

I did my apprenticeship at Jamie Olivers Fifteen London back in 2010. It is at Fifteen that I learnt the importance of high quality produce.

As soon as I entered the kitchen I became a sponge, and after I made my first batch of Gnocchi I was in love.

My present day love of fresh pasta comes from the year I spent at Fifteen those many years ago…!

I worked with great pasta chefs, Italian and non Italian, and to this day I still remember some of the most important tips and tricks out there to making great pasta.

These tips and tricks, fused with my own exploration with vegan pasta recipes is the fabric of this workshop.

During this masterclass you will learn how to:

• Make a strong eggless pasta dough
• A simple really tasty buttery sauce
• Fresh raviolis and tortellonis
• And you will take home the recipe of a delicious meaty jackfruit filling, same one I’ve been using in most of my private dinners.

After the class, we will all eat together in true Italian fashion and enjoy all the lovely filled pasta we have just made!
